The San Francisco Board of Supervisors gave final approval Tuesday to place a measure on the ballot for November 2019 that would implement a tax on rideshare companies like Uber and Lyft. The measure is aimed at reducing congestion and would see 50% of tax revenue go to the Municipal Transportation Authority for transit service improvements.
