Find potential tax increase for Lorain County transit, criminal justice tax proposals

ELYRIA, Ohio — Lorain County voters are being asked Tuesday to approve separate property tax increases for the county transit agency and for a criminal justice crime lab.

 

The transit tax, on the ballot as Issue 11, is for a 0.065 mills and would last five years. The criminal justice tax, Issue 10, is a five-year, 0.08-mill proposal.
