Fulton County is considering a ballot initiative for MARTA in 2017 in light of the win in the City of Atlanta in 2016.  However, county officials are now signaling that they may not be ready to go to the ballot until 2018, despite a state bill that has been introduced in the legislature to give specific counties the authority to go to voters for transportation taxes.
