Athens-Clarke County voters decided to pass the renewal of a 1% Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (TSPLOST) that would provide $70 million for transportation over 5 years to fund Athens Transit operations, bus replacement, new transfer station, service expansion, and bus stop improvements.
